Southwestern Livestock Mineral Co., Inc., is a blender of custom free-choice range minerals and custom premixes. We blend for dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, goats (Boer, Milk, and Angora) and swine. Our custom minerals for domestic consumers carry a consumption guarantee. We have FDA clearances for many medications including Bovatec®, Rumensin®, Rumatel®, Mecadox®, Banmith®, Deccox®, and several antibiotics.
Our Company philosophy is to serve our customers like we want to be served. This includes reasonable pricing of our minerals, delivery anywhere--either by our own trucks or other carrier, and the knowledge to help our clients aid their livestock nutritionally. We expect the livestock consuming our minerals to eat mineral daily at the following levels: cattle 2-4 ounces; sheep 0.5-1 ounces; goats 0.75-1.5 ounces.

Southwestern Livestock Mineral Co. was purchased by the Turner Family in 1980 from Johnny Bonner of San Angelo, Texas. The Company was established in 1965. Dr. Tim R. Turner and wife Judy operate the Company with their daughters Tara and Amanda. General Manager is James Bain Price IV.
The Company is located at
202 West 4th Street in San Angelo, Texas. Dr. Turner is active in ration analysis,
purchasing, and administration. Mr. Price fulfills the daily operation of the business.
Judy works as Corporate Secretary managing the financials.
The Company specializes in helping folks with nutritional problems with livestock. Several of the problems include grass tetany, copper deficiency, urinary calculi, phosphorus deficiency, foot rot, lumpy jaw, and others. The Company is able to blend many combinations of minerals to solve specific nutritional problems for clients. We have a source for virtually all mineral components.
We work with producers one on one and deliver direct to their operations. There is no
middle man in our operation thus allowing us to respond quickly to our client's needs. Our
minimum order is 500 pounds for custom blends.
